Day 1

Feel the amazing view of Latpanchar at a reasonable price. With an average altitude of 4200ft,it forms the highest part of the Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary. From Kalijhora, Latpanchar is near about 13 kilometers. Unlike Darjeeling, it is a very less crowded area even during the peak season. The most beautiful orange orchards are convenient in Latpanchar. Latpanchar is considered as the highest part of Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary.

 Sightseeing at Latpanchar:

• Wander through the Chinchona plantations. You will be in love with the curve road that passes through the forests of pine forest.
• It has 36 types of animals and more than 240 species. You will find The Himalayan deer, black bear, monkeys, leopards and many animals over there.

An afternoon walk will be adventurous in Latpanchar. Homestay will be the best option for accommodation. The WBFDC forest inn has two conserved rooms. It is encompassed by a dense forest. The ambiance is quite attractive and magnificent. 

Day 2

• Feel the beauty of tranquil and peaceful Mahaldiram which is a 5800 ft hilltop village.
• Enjoy the tremendous view of Kanchenjunga and Teesta River which is encircled by the Tea Garden.
• Experience the scene of the magnificent view of Sittong Chuche Dhunga.

• Relish the beauty of Namthing Lake through pine and cinchona trees from the base of aahaldara. Namthing Lake has an altitude of 5000 ft above sea level. This area is famous for Himalayan salamander. 

• Celebrate the extensivesight of Kanchenjunga mountains, snow peaksand valleys at Sarsari Dara at Latpanchar.
• Visit Ahal Dara from where you can watch the sunrise over the Himalayas. You can enjoy the beauty of this place by staying up overnight.

Day 3

• You can try the eco-friendly village which is located within the Senchal Wildlife Sanctuary named Chatakpur. It is situated at a height of 7887 ft. In the afternoon, visit the local village on walking.
• You can appoint a professional guide for trekking as the forest is a home for Leopards, Barking Deer, Red Panda it is also a home for lovely birds like Blue Magpie, Flycatcher, Pipit, Prinia and more.  

Enjoy the scenic beauty of Chatakpur by lodging up one night.

Day 4

• Visit Kali Pokari pine forest which is situated within Singalila National Park. It is placed on the trekking route from Mane Bhanjan to Sandakphu.
• You can enjoy the view of dairy khola falls and dairy khola lake.
• Experience the attractive scenery of Kanchenjunga from the Watchtower which is just 10 minutes walking distance from the tourist cottages.  

Revisit Latpanchar and spend the night over there.

Day 5

Feel the beauty of Chatakpur to Kalimpong sight seen on the way. 

Take rest during the night at Kalimpong.

Day 6

The next day return to NJP from Kalimpong.
